In 2023, the highly anticipated Ford Mustang Mach-E finally arrived in Brisbane, Queensland. However, it seems that availability is still limited, with only a few cars reaching the country’s major population centers.

A Magnificent Car with Some Restrictions

The Ford Mustang Mach-E proves to be a remarkable car, delivering a fantastic driving experience. The SUV impresses with its fit, finish, comfort, and size, although it does come at a higher price compared to similar models like the Polestar 2 and Tesla Model Y.

Future Ford Models and Customer Reactions

The Ford F-150 Lightning will not be available in Australia, and the company is unlikely to release any more petrol Mustangs. However, Ford is planning to launch a plugin hybrid Ranger in 2025. It’s worth noting that customers who have ordered the Mach-E may have to wait up to 12 months for certain trims.

A Standout Design

The electric blue Mustang Mach-E stands out among Ford’s other vehicles in the dealer parking lot. With its unique design, featuring Mustang elements like the horse emblem and triple tail lights, the Mach-E is a car that demands attention on the road.

User-Friendly Features and Some Differences From Tesla

The Mustang Mach-E featured user-friendly technology, with two screens that allowed for larger icons and better visibility. We appreciated the ability to see important information like battery capacity and range on the main screen. Unlike Tesla’s door handle design, the Mach-E incorporated a push button with enhanced PIN number security. Additionally, the car offered three different driving modes – Whisper, Active, and Untamed – although we were only able to test the Active mode during our brief drive.

Noteworthy Features

The Mach-E has a smooth and comfortable ride. The car’s handling and acceleration is proving to be impressive. The Mach-E also boasts useful features like tyre pressure readings and a 360-degree camera.

The Future of the Mustang Mach-E

The Mach-E generated significant interest among customers. it seems like the electric pony is set to be a popular choice in Australia. Whether it will appeal to both Ford fans and drivers of other brands remains to be seen.
