Introducing Wall-Mountable EV Chargers
Commencing operations this month, the Fort Worth factory is set to roll out its inaugural batch of EV chargers. These 11 kW Level 2 chargers, equipped with the universally accepted SAE J1772 connector, are engineered for convenient wall mounting, with an additional stand option to cater to varying installation preferences. They signify LG’s commitment to creating versatile and user-friendly charging technology.
On the Horizon: Level 3 DC Fast Chargers
Looking ahead to the spring, the factory will scale up its manufacturing prowess to include LG’s pioneering Level 3 DC fast chargers. Users can expect a robust and intuitive charging experience, thanks to a large LCD touchscreen display coupled with a connected power bank. These chargers promise to deliver rapid charging capabilities, reaching up to 175 kW through advanced CCS1 and NACS connectors. Notably, LG plans to escalate its technology offering to produce ultra-fast chargers with a formidable 350 kW output capacity later in the year.
