Most notably, BESS now makes up over a third of RWE’s 36 GW pipeline in the U.S, which also includes onshore wind and solar projects. On a global scale, RWE boasts a battery storage capacity of around 700 MW, and it doesn’t stop there – with more than 1 GW of battery storage projects still in the pipeline.
