The luxurious leather seats and aesthetically pleasing interior are incredibly inviting, while the powerful electric engine and commanding view from the long, elegantly designed hood provide a thrilling experience. To be honest, I was reluctant to give it back, if not for one small drawback: the doors.
Intelligent design choices
Genesis made several intelligent design choices when creating the GV70 crossover/SUV. Its sleek, sporty look is accentuated by a long hood and short tail, and the interior is a wonderfully comfortable and welcoming space. However, entering and exiting the vehicle requires dealing with the doors, which is easier said than done.
Genesis designed the doors to extend all the way down to the lower edge of the GV70’s body. This design feature aims to make it easier for passengers to get in and out without dirtying their pants or dresses on exposed sills or rocker panels. On paper, it sounds great.

Every inch of this vehicle is crafted with precision, displaying no signs of squeaks, rattles, or any other flaws. Instead, you’ll find abundant torque, plush seating, and unparalleled comfort. Not to mention, the cargo space is more than enough.
