This substantial contribution will accelerate the progress of SEEED’s Green Construction Program, marking the launch of their third eco-friendly solar-powered home.

The design boasts efficient measures such as reinforced 2×6 framing, insulated concrete form basements for enhanced insulation, and a solar panel setup complemented by battery storage. These features are set to be complemented by high-performance heat pump water heaters, HVAC systems, low-energy LED lighting, and energy-star rated appliances, collectively pushing toward maximum energy efficiency.
ORNL’s Extended Support to SEEED’s Urban Initiatives
