Terpstra will be in charge of leading the company’s efforts to supply and develop more wind projects in the region now that he has been promoted to this post.
Enercon said in a statement that Terpstra had been serving as interim president of western Europe for the company since the month of September. In addition, Enercon added that Terpstra had continued to serve in his prior job as director of service for the region.
The German wind turbine manufacturer has wind farms located around the region, including in Italy, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Spain.
Terpstra expressed the following intention: “The objective is to continue on this success over the future years as we strive towards a safe and sustainable organization where we work hard, support one another, and look after each other as well as our customers.”
Enercon’s Chief Executive Officer Jürgen Zeschky has credited American policymakers with doing a better job than their European counterparts at serving their key interests.
